Scenic Caves Nordic Centre - Blue Mountains Ontario

Winter Season

Scenic Caves Nordic Centre

Our Nordic Centre is closed for the season, and will reopen next winter when the snow returns!

We look forward to sharing a great winter of adventures with you next year.

Set within one of Canada’s eighteen UNESCO biosphere reserves, lies Scenic Caves Nordic Centre - a spectacular winter playground. With our unique mountaintop location, the Nordic Centre is nestled in 370 unspoiled acres of the Niagara Escarpment.  Our location provides the perfect elevation for reliable snow conditions and consistent temperatures, all season long. Glide along our 27km trail network by cross country ski, or hike by snowshoe on 12km of trails. Our trails are professionally groomed and track set daily and include access to Southern Ontario's longest Suspension Footbridge!

Many native species call our 200 year old forest home and await your arrival. A wide variety of birds including winter owls, deer, rabbits and other wildlife can be seen during any given winter visit.

Reservations are not available. Day tickets and rentals can only be purchased on-site at Scenic Caves on a first come first serve basis. Mid-week and early entrance is advised.

Snowshoes or Cross Country Skis are required to access the winter trails.  You can use your own equipment, or rentals are available on site.
