Our tranquil picnic area surrounding the fish pond is the ideal spot to break for a bite. Whether you satisfy your hunger with a tasty treat from our snack bar or brown-bag it with your own food, the leisurely setting is just as enjoyable.
The Fish Pond is fed by natural springs and is home to rainbow and speckled brook trout that can often be seen from the sidelines. Fish food is available for a small fee and guests are encouraged to use this if they wish to feed the fish.
Whether you spend a few minutes or a few hours enjoying the natural, park-like setting from our ample seating at picnic tables and muskoka chairs, it will be the most relaxing part of your visit.
Access to the Pond & Picnic area comes included with your general park admission rate and is available during regular hours of operation. Please note that our last park admission is sold 2 hours prior to closing.
